Free the Need is a volunteer-based non-profit established and operated to support the Welcomed Consensus community. The organization gathers expired food from various vendors around San Francisco, CA, Yreka, CA, and Ashland, OR. They then sort for Welcomed Consensus and personal use, and give away the reaming donations. They also collect clothes in SF and sell them in Northern CA and in Southern Oregon. After the community is clothed the rest is given away to thrift stores.
